Doris Evans is an executive consultant at Catalight Foundation, formerly known as Easter Seals Bay Area.

She has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and social service industry, delivering on high-level, complex projects.

She is a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology and volunteers her time to her community whenever possible. Doris' passion for reducing sexual exploitation is largely driven from work with Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children as well as her own experience of neglect and abuse that occurs within the disabled and demented community. During her time as a Classroom Counselor, Doris worked with many clients and families that had experienced sexual exploitation or sex trafficking.

Doris also has firsthand experience with the different types of neglect and abuse that can occur in the care homes and facilities that are supposed to protect and care for people's loved ones. All of these experiences and exposure inspire and motivate her to do whatever she can to bring awareness, protection and change to sexual exploitation among the disabled community.

Ms. Evans holds a Masters in Public Administration in Organizational Leadership from California State University, East Bay and a Bachelor’s of Science in Developmental and Child Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California.
