Rachel Schlesinger, M.S., CRC (She/Her), has committed her career to the field of disability. As a certified rehabilitation counselor, Rachel spends her days teaching social-sexual education to adults with developmental disabilities and co-teaching a disability studies course at San Diego State University. At San Diego State University, she is a Faculty Ambassador for universal design and creating accessible learning environments. She is also a consultant, author, and advocate featured on the Inclusion First podcast. Rachel is passionate about reducing the risk of abuse of people with disabilities. She is acutely aware of the systemic barriers families and individuals face to seeking justice, access to comprehensive sex education, and family support services.

Rachel's personal experience includes being a person with a disability and growing up as the older sibling to Rebecca, her sister who experiences autism.
