The California Sibling Leadership Network
Liza Stack has worked in Special Education for seventeen years in the roles of a teacher, consultant, and now a content specialist. She sits on the Board of the California Chapter of the National Sibling Leadership Network and represents the Central Valley. She is also the Secretary for the Board of Focus on Unity in Education, a non-profit organization dedicated to disseminating research-based knowledge to improve instruction, leadership, and positive outcomes for all students. In her personal life, she and her sister are the primary support people for their thirty-two-year-old brother who is on the autism spectrum.
Areas of personal interest include self-determination, self-advocacy, person-centered planning, and learning more about representation of individuals with disabilities as active participants in their communities.
