The Next Step Programs

Richard Price has worked with individuals with disabilities and their families for over 10 years. He has worked as a vocational counselor, supporting individuals with Disabilities in the transition to employment. He has also worked as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, working specifically with school and transition-aged youth with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Currently he is at the University of Illinois gaining his PhD in Special Education, with a focus on the transition out of high school for those with the most significant support needs. Richard is a sibling and has dedicated his work to supporting individuals with Disabilities and their families. Richard has a few research lines, vocational assessments for individuals with Disabilities, the transition out of high school, and the intersection of individuals with a Disabilities who identify as queer / in the LGBTQIA+ community.
